The Yuva Sangam delegates from Tamil Nadu were taken to showcase the state-of-the-art Tehri Dam second-highest dam in Asia, which in itself covers the Prodyogik (Technology) and Pragati (Development) aspects of YS Phase-IV. The comprehensive and detailed visit initially to the THDC museum and then to the THDC turbine area was a unique experience for the delegates as they came to know about the electricity production in Uttarakhand at such a huge scale. Few delegates from engineering backgrounds showed their keen interest in the working procedure of the Tehri dam. In this order, specific queries were also raised by them, which were fully responded to by the officials of the Tehri dam. The delegates also visited to a Musuem at the site of Tehri Dam
